5. Divide and Conquer!
This explains why they've been advocating that Dems stay home and don't vote.

Dispicable!

Maybe somebody will put up a PDAUnderground site because they sure as hell shouldn't be able to post here.

21. details, details...
I was at the WCW protest in Minneapolis today and someone referenced a consitution party made of all people - Republicans, Dems, Greens -- All Americans. A pro-peace, anti-torture Dem Senate candidate (bumped off by the DC Dems before the primary) spoke and a Dem voter spoke out making the case for voting a straight Dem ticket. Our protest could not be considered anti-Dem in any form or fashion.

The message was: "Let's hold the regime accountable - no one else is."

I didn't get the sense that WCW is planning to field candidates, just unify people. Nothing wrong with that.

17. Agreed. I really didn't suspect they'd announce another party. I
agree. Lock this.

No wonder they were saying not to vote for Democrats.

18. If we loose the midterm, then there needs to be an alternative party
built for 2010. Vote for the Dems in 2008, but work on rolling out the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party for 2010. If the Dem leadership can't win with all these republican negatives, IT IS ALREADY DEAD.

23. what about an alternative to the alternative alternative party?
I hear joining 'alternative' parties is the direct result of abuse by 'pollsters'.

24. About the only way they can "usurp" your votes is if you vote for them.
Methinks your use of "usurp" needs study.

25. Sure we do. We need the grassroots and netroots of the party to leave it
and leave behind the dead weight that is Reid, Lieberman, the spineless, and the DLC. It's not an alternative to the Democratic party, its the Democratic party leaving the current leadership in a looser party by themselves.

No win in 2006. Start working for midterms in 2010. Again, if you can't win against this current cabal, with all these scandals, then the party is dead.

If we loose in 2006 and I'm forced into 2008 with Hillary or someone of her ilk, then I will not send another dime to the DNC or it's candidates. That will be it. I'm tired of giving hundreds of dollars to candidates who loose. I'm tired of signing petitions. 2006, then 2008. THAT'S IT!
