Page's family didn't think emails were all that bad. What kind of parents |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-05-06 04:55 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
are told of a pervert preying on their teenager and decide that all they should do is tell the pervert to "stop writing him" instead of GOING TO THE AUTHORTIES?
Crappy selfish rePUKE parents.
On edit: They said something at the end of their statement about fearing for their safety if they came forward into the spotlight. So the choices are that they're crappy rePUKE parents who put politics first, or not crappy parents who knew rePUKES would harm them if they went public.

5. And be known for taking down a Congressman? |
|
Somehow that's not gonna get them invited to too many parties in the future. Or lead to the son being hired by Republicans.

Parents who put politics before the safety of their child. Here in TN they could be charged with facilitating child abuse or being passive perpetrators.

7. I remember " they got what they needed/wanted....' |
|
being offered on some of the talk shows by the wing-nuts when discussing the parents not wanting to press things.... I found the wording curious.

11. Bullshit! Why did they contact Congress and request Foley NOT |
|
contact their son again. They we're definitely looking out for their son but didn't give a damn because they didn't want to make waves.
If it was important enough for the kid to call "Sick" thirteen times (13) in a phone call to a staffer, it was bad enough, i.e., predatory.
The parents asked that they TELL Foley NOT to mess with their son again. That's significant.

That is hearsay and would not be allowed in a court of law. Foley is under wraps, the parents aren't exactly doing the talk show circuit. Without them talking for themselves, I don't think we know their reasoning or their reaction.

20. Here's an important clue |
|
``I could give you a massage here . . . just a block and a half,'' he wrote. Later in the online conversation, Foley asked, ``so you do see us palyin around''?
``Sure,'' the page responded. ``weve gone over this before . . . havent we''? ``I excuse your memory when you are drinking . . . cause i dont remember much when i drink,'' the page continues.
``We will make you successful,'' Foley promised, ``as long as you don't mind me grabbing your <deleted> once in a while.''
``Sorry my mom walked in,'' a page wrote after an interruption.
``What did she want''? Foley asked.
``To spend time with me . . . she just came in and sat down . . . apparently she doesnt see enough of me or something,'' he replied.
``Thats a good mom,'' Foley said.
And it's being largely overlooked.
"We will make you successful,"
The pubs hand pick the pages, they are groomed, Then it's reduced to a business proposition for further advancement.
I'm not so sure 100% of the parents dissaprove, and may even encourage this, knowing it's a fastrack advancement opportunity to the inside.
