What will it take for the Log Cabin Republicans to finally walk away.

Log Cabin Republicans are gays who are out of the closet. Now they're listening to their party of choice equating being gay with being a pedophile.

How many times do this people need to be crapped on before they come to their senses and tell the Republican party to screw off?

I've never understood why they were Republicans to start with. Maybe they're into some kind of political version of S&M. Is there anyone out there who can explain how these people rationalize their loyalty to the thugs?

On edit: A Log Cabin Republican just called Randi and all he said was that he changed his party.

5. I honestly don't know the answer to that.
They can somehow justify their President and their party consistenly supporting amending bigotry into the United States Constitution...via the "Federal Marriage Amendment". If they still support the Republican Party after that, they'll never leave.

go together. Never have, never will.

I also don't understand Black Republicans.

The Republican Party is very bigoted. How anyone can support a group that looks upon them as second class, or inferior, I'll never understand.

The world is a very small place today, everyone must be treated equally, with respect and dignity.

16. If your whole life is centered on wealth and power where would you go?
It goes also with a lot of the pages. They are there to rub shoulders and get to know the power people. The people that can get things done for them. People do not run for office to serve any more, they go to help themselves, not the people. Just look and see what they do when they retire.

15. After they've been rounded up and put into ex-gay camps with the rest of
us homosexuals. Then they might begin to think differently.

I've no time for self-hating, delusional, America-haters.

It is true Log Cabin Republicans enjoy little support from Christian Conservative America, but they are not in the Republican Party because they agree with the social conservatives.

They are in the Republican Party because the low tax, limited regulation mantra of the Republican Party platform appeals to them. They believe in the free-market, perhaps beyond what is justified by reality. Nevertheless, they believe in it.

In the two-party state of America, they frankly have no other party to represent them except the Republicans because they do not agree with Democrats on economic issues with respect to government regulation, taxes, etc. They do not want a welfare state; they are not in favor of heavy social spending; and they detest heavy taxation for those they view as "most successful" in society.

Maybe they would be in the Libertarian Party if they were a viable political party in the American system, but it's not because we live in a duopoly instead.

Ask yourself why far leftwingers would be in the Democratic Party. Why would socialists even be in the Democratic Party? Because there is no party to represent their own views in a two-party system. You want a Socialist Party that's viable? Go live in a country that uses proportional representation, not here. You want a Green Party that's viable? How about a viable Christian Democratic Party? Or a viable Labor Party?

You're never going to find those in the US, not as long as the two established parties are the only parties that write the laws.
