Video of how Fox "news" EDITED Colbert Report video to make Dem look Bad!!
I just found this video at YouTube that someone put together that shows how Fox "news" took that "Better Know A District" video, where Stephen Colbert got Florida Democratic Congressman Robert Wexler to say a bunch of stuff that "...would lose him the election, if he wasn't unopposed..." on a recent Colbert Report.

If you saw the original video on The Colbert Report, you'll know that it took a LOT of coaching, by Colbert, to get him to say these things, Coaching that Fox "news" edited out of the video they showed and claimed were spontaneous.

Is this a new low or what?

Here's the link: <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGqPxn7njqM>

Here's the full interview from The Colbert Report, the video that they used start after 4:15 in the original clip, link below:

3. As the election looms near, FoxNews gets more and more desperate to
protect the Republican hand that feeds it. Blatant lies and distortions. Drink the Republican KoolAid and believe, believe Foley is a DEM, everything is going swimmingly in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the president has all of our best interests in mind.

Of course, Fox is going to edit out the long parts. What's new?

Besides, wasn't this segment months ago?

6. I think the point is that the FOX robot was all "this is outrageous, what
this guy will say when he is unopposed!" even though the whole POINT of it is to joke around that.

At least they had the Colbert intro explaining the gag.

7. Colbert even mentioned it on his show
He went out of character and informed Faux News that Wexler was playing along with a joke. :eyes:

10. He mentioned the Today Show's mis-use of his video, but I don't...
...remember him ever saying anything about this one.

Do you have a link to the video of him talking about THIS Fox "news" video?

13. guys, there's nothing with this here
you're wasting your time... it's pretty common for tv folks to edit down pieces like this.. they don't have the time to include all the uh's and ah's and pauses, and so forth.

this is kinda silly, no offense.
