1. They know they can get their xenophobic fix from his show and he knows
Edited on Thu Oct-05-06 05:45 PM by Sapere aude
it helps his ratings. That from an ex-xenophobe

Same thing with the radio John & Ken show on KFI and the Savage Weiner show.

2. Dobb's job - keep the US (whites) against THEM (everyone else) escalated.
Racism is quite profitable and beneficial for the rich, white, privileged, racist white male.

3. Lou is an old school isolationist and fiscal conservative

so it's great when he talks up outsourcing and port management,
not so good on illegal immigration. OTOH, even Lou agrees that until
there is economic justice in Latin America, the US will have a illegal
immigration issue.

He is great on the electronic vote fraud issues... so you know he isn't a
party line repuke like 80 percent of the MSM

5. Every one of these shows has its pet issue.
KO's is his anti-Bush ranting. Nancy Grace's is being a mean-ass bitch. Dobb's is immigration.

6. OK, but why make an issue that so few care about his centerpiece?
Is it Dobbs racist obsession with brown people perhaps?

8. Dobbs is an isolationist and likes to talk about it...
He seems to want to insulate our economy from the world economy which is good for most DUers when he opposes outsourcing of jobs, not so good when he opposes immigration.

I heard him say that he does not like it when US companies build factories in Mexico and employ Mexicans and he does not like it when they build factories in the US and employ Mexicans. Is part of his attitude due to racism? I don't know, but it could be. If that is his reason for opposing outsourcing, not many here will complain about that, but if he uses racism to oppose immigration then we will howl.

Personally I think Dobbs is right sometimes and wrong sometimes. In that regard he joins a large portion of humanity in terms of how often I agree with them.

7. I've always liked Lou Dobbs...
but the other night, he said Hugo Chavez may be supplying arms to terrorists. Spreading misinformation like that, I don't think I'll ever watch him again!
