Email I just got: The Rachel Maddow Show Goes Double-Wide! |
|
Premiering January 2nd, 2006, The Rachel Maddow Show moves to a new time slot and goes double-wide, expanding to a new two-hour format airing live, from 7:am – 9:am eastern time, on the Air America Radio Network coast to coast.
The show will continue to deliver a fast-paced and provocative look at the day’s news: what’s in the headlines and what should be in the headlines – but isn’t.
Other trademark segments that dedicated fans have come to rely on will be carried over to the new show as well, including a look at the tactics and antics of the rrrrrright-wing scheme machine – and pop news and sports from the inimitable Kent Jones. The expanded format will also allow Rachel to interview guests on the show, bringing an added dimension to her unique view on the most important and developing stories of the day.
Tune in live on Air America Radio affiliates coast-to-coast, on XM satellite radio and worldwide online at airamericaradio.com.
If it’s not on live from 7:am – 9:am eastern time, contact your local Air America Radio affiliate to find out what time they’re airing The Rachel Maddow Show - or when they’ll be adding it to their schedule.
Then go to www.MaddowOnline.com to read Rachel’s daily newsblog and to stream or download the show. You can also subscribe to the TRMS podcast on iTunes®.

Did you know that it was the brilliant Kent Jones behind the 'Lawton Smalls' character on Morning Sedition?

Dear Air America Radio Directors, When are you going to bring Morning Sedition back? You have stopped one of the most important crusaiders against the GOP, Marc Maron, and if we lose in '06 and '08, you'll be responsible.
Limbaugh and O'Reilly won this round, thanks to you.
Signed,
An ex listener

8. If you had kept listening, he changed his attitude, as many did. |
|
Let's hope you never say one wrong thing, or your friends and family will disown you.
If we don't stick together, the GOP will remain in power. Can we stop squabbling about munitiae?

9. JJS is right - he did change his attitude about that |
|
but I remember listening to him while driving to the Georgia mountains right after the election.
He made me so fucking mad.
Nothing but ridicule and scorn for Kerry, and the very IDEA that the election had been rigged.
Al Franken needs to do a reality check, too.

He became to arrogant - the power got to him. Air America is supposed to be different from the RW: get your talking points and drum them - hell with the facts. That's what they did. They called us lunatics, conspiracy nuts and all the RW standard invectives. As I was saying - good riddance!
P.S. I used to love that show until the elections, eventhough I was pissed they got rid of the only good journalist - Sue Ellicott and both Marks were lousy interviewers.(i.e. Isicoff made a lot of unchallenged propaganda for W one morning) But it was funny enough to listen to - I heard the very first one and stayed with it.
