Renew America: GOP in serious trouble
Renew America
GOP in serious trouble
Chuck Baldwin

One does not have to be a prophet to see that the future of the national Republican Party is very bleak. It also seems that the GOP is willingly assisting its own demise.

In the first place, the GOP has betrayed its conservative base-big time! "Republicans may like to brag that they are the party of Ronald Reagan and are dedicated to the policies and principles for which stood, but they are acting more like members of the party of Lyndon Johnson." Those words were written by Michael Reagan, President Reagan's son. He is right, of course.

Michael Reagan also wrote, "Republicans, those vaunted champions of fiscal integrity and honesty in government, showed just how they are dedicated to my dad's principles by greedily looting the federal budget of billions of dollars to fund their pet projects and keep the voters back home happy and in a mood to re- elect them."

Chuck Baldwin is Founder-Pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. In 1985, the church was recognized by President Ronald Reagan for its unusual growth and influence.

1. When you control the vote machines...
...the concerns of mere voters are no longer of much concern.

3. oh. cute...and a racist, too

Even more telling is the fact that by 2050, Caucasians will be a minority race in the U.S. This is already the case in several communities in America's great Southwest. The main reason: the vast numbers of Hispanics who have illegally migrated to our country.

He should have stuck with the police academy.

11. When They Get The Judiciary, They Won't Care
Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me to see a bit of a retreat from the Wingnuts should Alito get in. Once that rat bastard is in place, these people can pump all their (considerable) money into law firms who, the second a Democratic Congress and President would pass any kind of bid-ness regulation or pro-labor law, will go straight to the courthouse to claim that the gov-ment don't got the right to stop bid-ness from doin' what they wanna do.

And the way Dubya has stacked the courts, be prepared for a series of rulings claiming Congress has no power whatsoever.
