It seems a couple of repukes were on Tweety saying they ought to put Nancy Pelosi under oath to find out what she knew about Masturgate and when she knew it. How about she answers..."I'd be happy to go under oath as long as Speaker Hastert will as well. In fact, I'd be happy to take a lie detector test if he will."

Wouldn't that shut them up and really fast?

4. Doubt the Dems knew anything

The Repugs kept the one Dem who was on the Page committee out of the loop so that pretty much smacks of an attempt to cover up.

Seems unlikely the the Dems knew everything and the Repugs knew nothing.

I'm on the West Coast. I've never watched him before but it sounds as if he did good today.

much in years. He wrote a very eloquent column opposing the invasion of Iraq ( his last one for the San Francisco newspaper before he went off to do MSNBC full time) but then became such a cheerleader for BushCo that I couldn't stomach him.

Lately though, the tide seems to be turning for him. He's been really hard on the Repugs , like he feels they deserve to lose.

Still 4 weeks is a lifetime in politics. Whatever Rove has planned for later this month may overshadow all of this.

5. EVERYONE knew Foley was creepy, but only REPUGS knew

the "hard" evidence. Gossip travels fast in DC - according to both Marrhews ad Buchanan last night - but the actual EMails to prove it seemed to have been for Rethug eyes only - and then coverd up.
