Patrick McHenry...Wingnut Hatchet Man
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 07:38 PM by KharmaTrain
He's all over the corporate media tonight screaming that Pelosi & Democratic leadership needs to be put under oath as to when they learned about the Foley emails. As though they held back these emails from the FBI and held them until the last moment. Tweety rolled his eyes on this and even O'Reilly had a tough time to get this dog to spin. What the deal with this guy?

On Edit: Thanks to those with the correction...Guess his cry is "Give Me Kool-Aid or Give me even more Kool-Aid"

1. It's McHenry....
and I can only guess that he and his buddy, Jack Kingston slipped into the gene pool while the lifeguard was at lunch.

2. I think it's Patrick McHenry
He's a first-term congressman tool trying to make a name for himself. I wish Tweety would have called him and that dumb shit senator that was with him a couple of obfuscating clowns. My favorite line during the interview was "The only question left to be answered is: What did the Democrats know, and when?" Sorry dumb-ass, the better question is: "What did the Repig leadership know, and when?"

6. Thanks For The Correction
I've seen him a couple times giving some nutty 1 minute speeches on the House floor, but where did he crawl out of tonight? Surely someone arranged for him to be on the show...and why? With so much slipping away, why throw in this moron?

The reason I posted this was I swept past O'Reilly and saw him on there and even Billo...who is dying to pin a Democrat with this scandal dismissed him. Hopefully C&L wlil put up the video...the guy sounded like the black helicopters were circling.

I was amused by this fool.

Kingston's already proven what a tool he is...and he had to step in to keep McHenry from making an even bigger fool of himself with Tweety. Kingston wasn't there to hold his hand with O'Reilly.

7. Yeah.
He started on that bs about putting the Dems under oath and I was yelling: "Your guys first, sport". He was truly pathetic.

10. Because established Repubs with "credibility" can't afford to be on tape,
on the record, slinging this wild bullshit. That's why Senor Rove tapped the junior flunky to do it. Just like they tapped Mean Jean Schmidt to call Murtha a coward. etc. etc.

12. You Are Spot On...As Usual...
This was definitely a trial balloon to see if they can stick something/anything on Pelosi and bait Emanuel into saying/doing something. I don't think either will take the lure.

They're desperate to get this into gaybashing...I just saw a hack trying to tie Pelosi marching in a SF Gay Pride parade as some sort of connection into this. Talk about seperation by 900 degrees.

I once wondered how goofy the right wing could go if they felt an election was slipping away. We're just seeing the start. We have 4 very long weeks to go.

Cheers...

14. Cheers to you too, KT. I would like to say at this time that even though
I'm pretty much posting exclusively on this Foley topic these days, I have no illusions about its importance vs. torture bill etc. It's just that it's been revealed to me that this seems to be the most potent (pun intended) instrument with which to flush the Repub nest out, because of the inability of the American public at large to hold its attention to anything else but sex related topics.

Although I will say that I think the Democratic Party had a great opportunity to make its case and make the torture issue front and center in American public debate, and it shied away from the opportunity, IMHO.

So Masturgate it is.

17. The End Justifies The Means
I hope you've seen Pelosi's plan for the first 100 hours...it's a good start.

Sadly, it took this kind of slime to get the corporate media to put the microscope to the Repugnicans and people are seeing a lot of what they don't like. The good thing is this did happen this close to the election.

Cheers...

19. McHenry wants to be the next Tom DeLay with a side of Rush Limbaugh
thrown in.

He's pure evil. Southern MAFIA type for the RNC - it's ALL politics for him.

9. McHenry plays the good old boy, but he's from the same cloth as Karl Rove.
He blackmails and brutalizes young Republicans in the same way Rove did, and muscles them at every turn to accept THEIR idea of rule of law.

There was a dustup a couple years back where he was strongarming College Republicans to put in his top choice - I believe a young female was threatened.

11. He's dreadful...isn't he? A disgrace to NC
Little "sh*t Young Repug" put up by the Fundies and we couldn't get him out.... He's not from my part of the state or we would have died trying to find someone to run against him who could win....:-(

13. He's On The Radar For '08
There were just too many races to deal with this year and hopefully we'll have enough pick-ups on Nov. 7th that we can look at expanding the 50-state and netroots strategy to go after some of the worst Rove lackeys and GOOP hacks. This turd needs to be flushed along with Virginia Foxx, Marsha Blackburn and Joe Wilson.

15. Where in NC?
Just wondering where he is from in NC? I can't imagine how he got elected, even in NC. Believe me, he did their cause more harm than good tonight. O'Leilly made him look like the fool he is. I hope he stays out there, but Rove will pull him back quick after tonight.
