And it wasn't an easy job either. My wife and I had to stay vigilant all the time. I remember getting them fingerprinted at K-Mart and the whole nine yards. Any other parents remembering going through all that? I think that is why I take this stuff so seriously. I have a three year old grandson to worry about now. It never ends.

1. no way i would get kids fingerprinted, foot printed and put the

fear of god in them. and it hasnt been the "hard" to keep my children safe. and not many could take it any more serious than i. but i do have issue with fear fear fear tactic and this whole attitude of fear for our children

it is my job to protect my children. i did not give it to them to do at age 5

but,.... there were two seperate times i am just sure they were approached by pedophiles. one was focused on my 6 yr old niece. he came up to her, she was behind me in line at a walmart..... his eyes,the intent in them, the direct look totally focused on her.... you can feel and smell the pedophile

and there was one other time directed at my son that i got that same feeling.

they back off easily from the adult that doesnt mess around

all our years,since my kids were babies, we have interacted with strangers. it has only been two times i have not like the feel of the person, and was sure..... what it was about. i wouldnt change anything with my children, all their experiences with strangers, and the joy my children gave to so many, putting a smile on faces, and all the kids received because of fear.

3. You condemn strangers because "you can feel and smell the pedophile"???

Accusing someone of a crime because you have believe you have the power to "feel and smell the pedophile" says far more about you than it does about them. :wtf:

5. ah... though i have in my post we have ALWAYS embraced

strangers since the time they were babies and on two occassions in 11 years,.... this is how you judge and condemn me. hm....

it was really an amazing feel. especially with the first one, with my niece. i could feel his energy, see it. (i meant smell not in a literal sense since of course there is not a smell to pedophilla)

2. Kids too old for child molesters; now in greater danger from recruiters

--military recruiters, that is--who, incidentally, operate VERY similarly to child molesters.

Either way, a kid can get KILLED talking to people like that.

4. Children are far more likely to be molested by someone they know & trust.

If you want to worry, be vigilant about Grandpa, Dad's best friend, the Sunday School teacher and little league coach. They're far more likely to molest your children than some shadowy stranger.
