1. There Are Plenty Of "Let's See What They Can Do"

I haven't heard that said by callers before...it sure beats the hell out of "they have no ideas".

Remember, the parties astroturf this show with callers and talking points and I'm certain that the C-SPAN producers let these calls roll through...a big reason why they don't always mention the party affiliation when they go to a phone line. F.A.I.R. has invstigated this and C-SPAN has yet to respond. So I always watch this show realizing there are many calls coming from offices inside the beltway...astroturf ready to plant.

When things look bad, I've noticed Repugnicans go two ways. Some ignore the problems and pretend everything is sweetness and light. How gas prices are down, stock market is up...blah blah blah. But then there's the gloom and doomers...who fear their own shadows and have been so coward and hoodwinked by the Repugnican leadership...they're the modern day equivelent of the 60's dude who'd walk around with the "End Of The World Is Near Sign" that everyone would snicker at. Now they do it on television.

3. They Hate Government, Until It's Their Medicare

My late father was a physician and he'd always laugh at how he'd listen to some of his fat cat friends who'd bitch about how much they were paying in taxes and then he would say..."ok, how's this, you let me tear up that medicare card...pay as you go and we'll deduct what you pay from your taxes". He'd get this "are you crazy look".

Don't these asshats realize one of booosh's big plans, if he retains control of congress, is to gut social security and medicare and make it a system run by the large banks and insurance companies. "Privitization" sounds so nice until you explain how it means you end up paying more.
