Oh God what a clod.

I have watched CSPAN for 27 years. I spoke to Richard Viguerie. I told him that even though I oppose his views it appeared good to speak to him.

I told him why I have not ever voted Republican and that I watched their party leaders for 40 years on television and these Republican leaders have supported cheap labor and that they have set themselves and their party up as more moral on sexual issues, and that their leaders have set themselves up as more proficient on national security.

Then I said that with this sexual scandal that they're party does not appear more moral and that on 9-11 the Republicans have shown themselves as weak on national security and national defense.

1. I saw an interview with him somewhere - perhaps CSpan - and it
was shocking to hear some of his reasoning - saying that the current Page scandal indicates that "the GOP is now as bad as Democrats in terms of corruption and scandal" - something like that. What a broad, misdirected brush stroke. Where did the reputation of the GOP as being high and mighty and pure, and the left as being dirty and foul - come from?

Each time a Pug scandal breaks, the amount of BS and outright lies and distortions that gets spewed (such as Newt's assertions of NPR that the Liberal Dems and Liberal media were behind the Foleygate story) is breathtaking.

3. NPR ran that speculative BS by Newt Gingerich
We could not even get them to run real stories of the War on Iraq, but they will give that s--thead coverage.
