So to sum it up, Republicans are screwed either way, because they are evil and corrupt, and they've been playing to the most vile, homophobic, racist, mysogynist values in their so called base for so long, its finally turned around and is taking a very, large chunk out of their collective, elephantine asses. Even their corporate base ain't gonna save them at this point is my guess. They are just that tainted, even the robber barons don't want to be seen with them anymore.

the 33% will fall into two categories. Some of them just don't have a clue about anything -- they probably don't know what a Congressional page is and they can't find America on a globe. The rest of them will tell you that they see problems with Bush, but they still think the alternatives are worse.

If his poll number does fall down to Cheney's level, he will probably be impeached and removed from office.
