Your best Bush quotation or Bush slogans
I am in the midst of expanding and revising my Anti-Bush Grafitti Calendar. Each month's page will have around 30 slogans or sayings which can be anti-Bush, anti-Bush-administration (including Cheyney, Rumsfeld et al) anti-specific-Bush-policies (torture, Iraq, tax policy etc) or just plain Bush sayings.

The current version is in print but only has 6 different pages which are repeated for the second half of the year. The revised version will have 12 pages, each with about 30 slogans, sayings, and statistics etc.

I plan to keep it clean and 'family friendly' so that no-one will have qualms hanging the calendar on a wall at home or in an office. I see this as no great hardship, there is quite enough that can be written without resorting to bad language.

I have a long list already but the more I have to choose from the better it will be so please leave at least one suggestion or, if you have one, a link to a good source that you may know of.

Last week I saw a bumper sticker I had not seen before and which I liked: "Compulsive liars make lousy presidents"

Thanks in advance,

Neil

2. When Darth Cheney was on MTP recently,
he said something I found particularly creepy. I'm not sure if I have the exact quote, but it was something like, "Part of my job is to think the unthinkable." Orchestrating 9/11 immediately came to my mind.

5. That's a great one!
Wonder if Bush has ever admitted to seeing his job as (sometimes) having to DO the unthinkable!

4. Be afraid. Be very, very, very afraid:
"Terrorists never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Could the new dictatorturer ever be more naked?

20. Just looked at the original quotation which will appear on the May page
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking of new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

That has to be one of the biggest Freudian slips in the history of mankind!

11. One of my favorites:
"Arbolist...Look up the word. I don't know, maybe I made it up. Anyway, it's an arbo-tree-ist, somebody who knows about trees." Quoted in USA Today; August 21, 2001

17. A few from the calendar.......
"G W Bush is the answer to the prayers of anger-management consultants all over America, saving the profession from near-extinction following a steep 8-year decline during the Clinton Presidency."

another one I like is a parody on Churchill (no disrespest Winston) "Never, in the history of human conflict, has so much been given by so many for so little reason."

This quote from the book of Samuel also rings true: "Ye shall cry out because of the king thou hast chosen" 1 Samuel 8:18.

On a lighter note: "The literature level of our children are appalling." and "I know how hard it is to put food on your family."

Apocryphal - At a press conference following hurricane Katrina Bush was asked for his opinion on Roe v Wade. He responded "I think people should get out of N'Orleans any way they can. If they've got boats shey should row, if not they may need to wade if'n the waters none too deep."

Yesterday a fire destroyed the President's entire book collection. A White House spokesperson said that President Bush was devastated by the loss. Both books were destroyed and he hadn't finished colouring the second one.

One day at a time is all well and good but 1.461 is an awful lot of days.

Tis the time's plague, when madmen lead the blind.

Bush, Cheney, Delay, Frist, Rumsfeld - Weapons of Mass Deception.

Those are from the January through June months. Now to get to work on July through December.
