RNC/Murdoch Point-a-palooza in the Plain Dealer's LTTE section!
I swear, Repuke Alex Machaskee can't get out of there soon enough. Almost the whole LTTE section today is loaded with talking-point laden letters based in skewed context, hatred and bashing. Take a gander at these champions' pearls of wisdom:

May I suggest that one need look no further than the city of New Orleans to see that the Democratic Party of the past five to seven decades has no moral ground to stand on at all. And as far as it being the party of the good of the planet, it is only if we want a planet of dire poverty. Because the simple fact is that the Republican Party is the party of self-worth and self-sufficiency, while the Democratic Party is the party of dependence on the plantation that liberalism is.

Ah, good ol' grave-dancing and the "self-sufficiency" canard. Really? Stop sucking the tits of Corporations, the 700 Club and Saudi Arabia and then we'll talk. Otherwise, STFU.

However, let us review the Republican past. Which party ran on a platform to limit and eliminate slavery? Which party ran on a platform not to negotiate with the Confederacy? Which party ran on ratification of the 13th Amendment? Which party ran on reform of labor laws? Which party stood shoulder to shoulder with the Democrats in both World Wars? Which party tried to limit and eliminate Jim Crow laws? Which party made the 1964 Civil Rights Act possible, while Democratic Sens. Robert Byrd and Al Gore Sr. fought it?

Here's an example of "Past Performance guarantees Future Results" and the resounding failure of them to grasp the difference between past Dixiecrat DINOs and real liberals on the side of the working/middle class. You know, that group that PRESENT DAY Repukes pretend to give a shit about, but really don't, unless it's scaring them with terrorists or homosexuals for votes.

Terrorists know that they cannot possibly defeat the U.S. militarily. Their only hope, therefore, is to gradually weaken the morale of the American public. The American Left has been happy to help by churning out one grossly irresponsible statement after another and decreasing public support for the War on Terrorism. This last point was cheerfully pointed out by bin Laden in his audiotape, as he cited the results of recent American public opinion polls and parroted many other familiar talking points of the Michael Moore crowd.

THERE IT IS AGAIN! The "Michael Moore crowd"! Yes, because bald fat old white conservative men in suits making 500 times more than you using every single loophole, advantage, bylaw and job cut, almost going out of their way to make life financially and physically miserable for you and your children aren't your REAL enemies! It's not like THEIR actions affect you directly or anything! Your REAL enemies are: a film-maker, a greiving plain-Jane mother who lost her son in Shitbag's Oil War, anyone with the last name of Clinton and a phantom terrorist on dialysis.

Plus he gives another center-page article to his favorite buck-tooth deputy bitch Kevin O'Brien, who goes on to talk about Republicans under the mistaken impression that any of us give a shit.

Can we PLEASE dispel the "liberal media" myth once and for all, freepers?

2. He also mentions Woodrow Wilson. THAT's a great example
Using that guy as an example of a Democrat is like using Bewsh as an example of a compassionate moderate. Wilson was a racist of the worst order.
