"The question remains; the only question that remains is: What did the democratic leadership know, and when did they know it?" :eyes:

Thanks to the upward mobility that our economy once had, even sociopathic white-trash dumbasses with deficient cognitive skills and the IQ of a wet fern can become congresscritters.
Is this a great country or what?

withheld the information from them.
The Dems found out about it the way everyone else found out - from ABC news...

Rumor had it that he was hand-picked by Carl Rove. If I remember correctly, he defeated a popular former sheriff while having barely established residence requirements. I worked for the Dem who ran against him who had a run of hard luck going up to the election. He was not considered strictly local.

This is the BIL who cranked off rounds with his assault rifle the afternoon I returned from the county fair & told him I had signed up 8 new Democratic voters. No need to ask me if I miss living in the country! Happily back in NY where I DO NOT get allergic smelling hay. :hi:

32. Once again the GOP over-reaches... makes me think of the theatrics |
|
around Schaivo. They were so sure that their pandering antics would sell to the base - and it did but only to the most extreme - meanwhile they alienated the more centrist part of the gop base AND independents. They don't seem to get that they need every last single vote of the moderate gop AND a big chunk of independents to win - and that overreaching has a way of biting them in the #ss.
I say this as one from another 'red' state - and have watched the tide turn against the GOP starting with the Schaivo theatrics. Have watched longtime GOP folks grow uneasy - and then disgusted with the GOP. So much so that our 7 R- 2 D congressional delegation appears to be about to shift to a 4 R - 5 Dcongressional delegation.
