i want to be on the no fly list...... any suggestions
i am suppose to go to akumal mexico in march and hang with in laws for a week and i really really dont want to. i see my only out, getting to airport and finding out i am on no fly list. this will accomplish so many things. especially since inlaws are repugs. though repugs that dont support bush. they have two gay sons, couldnt vote for the man. but all this ultra protect us from evil shit ... they so embrace. so if i can get on the no fly list, that will be a dig to their beliefs and get me out of the trip. then i could go around mouthing off about a 44 year old mother being a threat to this naiton

HOW do i get on this list

agent MIKE..... pick me, wink

4. that's easy - send a letter to the TSA and tell them you think
they're no fly list program is outrageous, unsupervised, lacks an audit trail and should be terminated until it can be proven that it works.

Give them a deadline to get back to you, say, before your trip to see the inlaws, and tell them you plan on leaving the country.

I'll bet you a brazillian dollars you'll be on it in five minutes.

10. But that would mean you could never fly again (at least while
this mal-admin is in place). Do you really want that, or, besides loathing your in-laws, are you afraid of flying? Akumal is gorgeous, BTW!

fly, ever, while we have a place i step into and someone else can do whatever and it is ok. we the people said that because THEY are so afraid. i am NOT that afraid. and i am pissed. i had a man get in my face just to intimidate 6 months after 9/11 and everyone in my life told me i was suppose to be intimidated. well i wasnt. and i didnt like it. i am told to put eyes down, ...... i wont

it is not a good and healthy environment for me

i like my car, where i am in control, wink

22. You're a communist and a terrorist-supporter! You have no rights!
You should be in Gitmo or in one of those concentration camps Kellog, Brown & Root was recently contracted to build in cases of "national emergencies." :sarcasm:

24. I doubt they'll shoot you (I certainly hope not)
but my experience has been that on three separate occasions I've been pulled out of a line and forced to miss flights. No reason given, but they just make it difficult to actually get on a plane.

23. I work with a guy (air traffic controller) who's on the no-fly list.
He's originally from Minnesota. Apparently, there's somebody who has a warrant for their arrest in Minnesota with the same name and birthdate as him (he has a common name). Their physical descriptions and SSNs are different, but he's on the no-fly list and he's having a really hard time getting off of it.

The real irony? He's a freakin' air traffic controller. The FBI and psychological tests say he's cleared to tell hundreds of airplanes where to fly, but the TSA says he's some "danger" if he actually gets on a plane.

26. why don't you just fib
a little white lie, such as calling on day you're supposed to travel and claiming to have been detained or refused, seems a lot easier

that said, if you want to be on the no fly list, i recommend having a very common name

and being honest just easier.

there was the same trip three years ago, i got out of that one ok. just thinkin no fly list would be an easy way to get out now. and never again have to go into an airport
