Utah Republicans want to rename Hill Air Force Base after Reagan

The cult of Ronald Reagan's personality continues on Utah's Capitol Hill.
Draper Republican Rep. LaVar Christensen is sponsoring a resolution encouraging Congress to rename Hill Air Force Base after the former president.
Christensen argues Utah's largest military installation and the beloved Republican president are intrinsically linked in bringing about the end of the Cold War with "peace through strength."
Congress named Hill Air Force Base after an Air Corps pilot, Maj. Ployer Peter Hill, who died in an experimental airplane crash in Ohio.

Thoughts? Remarks? I don't quite know what I think about this yet.

Well, if you are from Utah (or not, whatever) and you don't think Reagan Hill Air Force Base would be a swell idea, what do you think they should do? Leave it as it is or come up with another name like Clinton Hill Air Force Base or Carter Hill Air Force Base?

I want to make the manly military types shit in their pants at the thought of a USS Bill Clinton. And why not? Clinton didn't overstretch the military all over the world. We had less than 100 troops killed in overseas military operations during his tenure, compared to almost 2500 under Bush.

On 30 October 1935 Ployer Peter Hill died as a result of injuries received from the crash of the Boeing experimental aircraft Model 299 at Wright Field. This aircraft was the prototype of what would later become the famous B-17 Flying Fortress of World War II.

Major Hill gave his life to ensure that this country had the tools it needed to defeat Hitler and his fascist gang of thugs.

Reagan just stayed in Hollywood, made movies, and never put his butt on the line.

I only lasted about 2 minutes. They were practicing mass-masturbation about the carrier being named after him. I posted:

"I think USS RONALD REAGAN is a great name for this ship. It will be billions over budget, and will be the only carrier to answer 'I don't know', when the President asks; 'Where are the carriers'"
