The Secret Service agent told my wife, myself and anyone else that would listen that I was being charged with assaulting the Vice President. Those charges were later reduced to harassment. And two weeks later or three weeks later, the charges were dismissed altogether.

was on Washington Journal the other day, talking about this, and was very careful to make it sound as if this guy created a scene, made it sound very much like he was stopped, and arrested ON THE SPOT, because he'd created a clear danger to the VP, and said that ANYBODY who approaches somebody as exalted as that should EXPECT to be arrested!

just as the doctor in NO who told Cheney to go FFFF himself, and was arrested some time later, the SS had no trouble with the initial encounter, obviously realizing that NO THREAT AT ALL existed at the time

wouldn't you love to know why they decided to arrest him after the fact, and what machinations went on before they made the decision?

He admits he might have brushed against his arm but NOTHING remotely close to assualt anyway I'm glad the charges were dropped and I hope he's sucessful with his suit.
