NK leader says nukes needed because of Iraqi invasion |
|
He doesn't want bushco to do to NK what * did to Iraq. Here's a country that flaunts WMDs but has no oil. Dems need to jump om the Ntests as a failure of *.

11. Well the point is that this 'expression' |
|
is being used to justify war against North Korea. Their leader is portrayed as insane and dangerous, and therefore we have no choice but to take action against North Korea. Kim is a brutal tyrant, but there is no reason to believe he is insane. Propagating the 'Kim is crazy' meme helps justify another war of aggression by our leaders.

I beleive every country has the right to develop ghastly weapons as long as superpowers keep developing ghastlier ones and keep attacking nations

10. I have even advocated encouraging countries, especially poor ones with |
|
lots of starving people, to pour what limited national treasure they have into building a few nuclear weapons. The people may be poorer and hungrier than ever, but at least the ruling royal dictator doesn't have to fear invasion of his starving barren wasteland. :sarcasm:
Africa, other than its democracies, would seem to be a great market for the sale of nuclear weapon building technology. Plenty of dictators would love to have a nuclear weapon or two. Wouldn't help their poor citizens very much, unless they sleep better knowing that their ruler is safer in his throne.
If NK was a democracy like India and Pakistan (at the time) were when they went nuclear, you could make the argument that the people actually wanted such weapons. When a royal dictator of a starving country does it, my assumption is that he would like to keep his cushy job.

4. Yet that schizo also said the US has no monopoly on pre-emptive strikes |
|
So what's the truth; defense or offense?
Dems will know how to take care of that crazy creep if need be too.

6. When did the NK regime make that statement? |
|
And by the way, do we have a monopoly on pre-emptive strikes?
Also, on what basis do you conclude that the leader of North Korea suffers from schizophrenia?

5. Yes; let's not forget that Clinton and Carter had worked w/ NKorea and |
|
that things were pretty quiet over the late '90s. It was only when our own Dear Leader arrived and decided we needed to be more confrontational that the situation deteriorated. Shrub has done the same heckuva jopb with NKorea as he has with the rest of his Axis of Failure.
