On ABC-HD Bush's speech was interrupted in the middle

by a promo for the movie Monsters Inc., coming to theaters Nov. 2. If was funny as hell as Monters Inc. was showing, but the closed captioning was still showing Bush's text, but was this a Twilight Zone moment with a promo for a movie that came out years ago? After that it showed a promo for ABC HD and their new Good Morning America studios with Charlie and Diane while the closed captioning still showed the text from comments on the speech. Then my local switched to Regis. Strange, but true.

3. I don't know if this was a local or national thing.

Unfortunately, it came out of nowhere and I did not have my dvd recorder turned on. It actually lasted for a number of minutes. After the Monsters Inc. promo there was a screen with sort of test patterns on and then came the clip about Good Morning America in HD and their new studios. It definitely was a surreal moment. Especially with the closed captioning still showing the text from the speech and the comments after.

Someone must have gotten sick of listening to his line of bullshit and when to an old promo that would perfectly fit moron*. cartoony monsters, then a test pattern of nothingness.

8. I called my local station and they didn't know anything about it.

They said it must have come from the national feed. What I cannot understand is why a promo for such an old movie should be put on as well as an old promo about ABC HD programming for Good Morning America.
