Natural human sexuality and FRIENDSHIP,closeness ,un shameful proximity to others has been banned or distorted socially. Sex and love have become messed up and both suffer.
For instance so many guys are scared to death to show affection to another guy other without the other assuming sex,same with women and men,and women and women..Every expression of affection it is assumed sex. This is NOT SO..
NON SEXUAL Touching,as an expression of kind emotion in the heart twords someone,love in the real sense is all but disappeared in this culture.Who has a friend they uninhibitedly just lie together with,snuggle next to,talking ,just to be close,to feel that skin to skin contact and sex never occurs?
Sex because friendship touch is verboten,has been sublimated into lust. When desire for affection or to express it is denied,kids are hurt deeply..and when abuse happens to children,thier sacred personhood is made worthless their minds if the incident of abuse is sexualized,"crystallize" thier sexuality into a past moment,and their sexuality is further sublimated into fetishes,and made into a power game,and they are walking wounded incapable of taking or giving others affection ,and they are scared of sex with people because people hurt them, but still wanting to be loved..but so scared of love and it being withdrawn they instead love shoes,porn, or being in control rather than face the terrifying risk of giving affection without reciprocation.again..
http://touchthefuture.org/services/bonding/main.htmIt's tragic what cultural conditioning had done to us.
http://www.emotional-literacy.com/fuzzy.htmA human being is a part of a whole, called by us universe,
a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself,
his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest...
a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening
our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
The great mystery is not that we should have been thrown down
here at random between the profusion of matter and that of the stars;
it is that from our very prison we should draw, from our own selves,
images(panther inserts unfettered love) powerful enough to deny our nothingness.
Andre Malraux (1901-1976)
Man's Fate, 1933
