If Ignorance Were Bliss, This Nation Would Be Having an Orgasm.

Our nation is having an orgasm. An orgasm over non-stop coverage of a maniacal dictator blowing a bomb up underneath the earth, a freak show senator that likes 16 year-old sausage and religious zealots who intend to fight the maniacal dictator for world media domination and both are pissed that a freak show senator gets the coverage.

Meanwhile, feeding off the bullshit we are being shoveled we look around only to see what everyone before us has built crumble. Then you look down at the kids who carry guns to school, never see daylight unless they are on Warcraft jerking off to a female elf and fighting a 400 pound McDonalds prodigy that has ingested enough red meat that we could pave an Eisenhower Interstate System with his vein sludge.

Politics, man the politics. It's like a screamfest between two four year olds. Loud, but irrelevant to anything going on around them. Suicide rates climb, housing costs are probaly the freaking cause of that, drugs are running rampant throughout the poorer parts of our nation, all to keep the attention away from the Cirque De Washington D.C.

This nation is surely a joke now, and I'm tired of blaming the Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. I'm tired of blaming politicians, judges, and the military for happenings going on in our world. We've taken the turbulent route to the state we are in, being melted by everyone elses afterburner.

All these problems, and no solutions you say. I have solutions. Look inwards. Not as a nation or a team, non of that bullshit, but look inwards as an individual. That's the problem with our freaking country is that Mom and Pop are no longer around. For whatever reason, it's becoming quite a problem, with such a simple solution. If you have a kid it is your responsibility to be there with him/her until he or she moves out. It's that simple.

It is my opinion that if we stay with our kids, protect them, and teach them the true wrong from right, we can certainly rid the world of the Bushs, Roves, Jong Ils, Hiltons, and all the other filthy no good peices of shit that are floating in the cess pool we call modern society.

1. LOL. Funny post until you started blaming working parents
Yep. I'll stop working, which will really hit Bush and Kim Jong where they live. LOL.

4. I don't think that is what the poster quite intended.
As I see it, we used to have a choice. You could stay at home if you wanted or you could go to work. It used to be that a family could survive on one income. It's pretty much impossible for us to do that now.

6. Nah
I carry two jobs, a USN sailor and a pizza delivery guy. Two very dangerous jobs. I know what it's like to have to work and be away from your family.

8. Because I have a wife at home
Teaching our daughter values. Both parents working is sheer ignorance. Call me sexist, but the man is supposed to be the breadwinner. If you can't cut it with one job, you gotta get another.

That's just the way I am.

3. The primary reason
parent's, or at least one, can't be with their kids is because of the crushing econmic demands of savage capitalism. While i appreciate the sentiment here you're placing all of the burdens on individuals whilst those same individuals are being bled dry by the kleptocratic state. Nothing happens in a vaccuum.

Where are all the safety nets and social programs, well they're being sucked up by the bloated Pentagon budget. Who is controlling those housing costs? With the amount of money being embezzled on a daily basis by various CEO's, the very same ones who earn 400 times the average worker, I fail to see the individual just slaving their guts out to get by as the primary problem. It really isn't that simple, it's become rather complicated.
