11. Yep.
No other word needed. Diebold was what I thought when she "won" the freaking primary! After such a wretched campaign! That's the only reasonable explanation.

2. She Only Got 54% At Her Own Fundraiser?
Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 05:45 PM by Beetwasher
Nothing to be too proud of.

I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to steal the election and uses this to justify her win. "I was ahead in a straw poll at one of my fundraising events!"

12. it wasn't a fundraiser but it wasn't a scientific poll either
http://www.theledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061009/COLUMNISTS0502/610090374/1286/ELECTIONS

Given that the event took place in Polk County, which is solidly repub, I'd suggest that a 54 percent showing (including six year olds!) isn't something to brag about.

7. Dammit Catwoman
If I'm on the computer with my son in my lap, and he sees your kitties, he actually CRIES and GETS MAD if I go to another thread....because he wants to see your kitties! ;-)

Katherine Harris may win, but only with Diebold on her side.

8. It was Politics in the Park...mostly Republican.
There was an article in the Lakeland Ledger about this.

To vote in the straw poll you had to pay $25. There was a picture of her helping a 6 year old vote in the straw poll.

Very few Democrats really bother to go there much since it was hijacked by the GOP years ago.

We did not go, I don't know many who did go who were Democrats. Our political editor called her out on this big time. He said there were many ways to lie.

Not the crazy voices that talk to Katherine when she tries to sleep at night.

17. I soundly defeated Harris
in the straw poll in my living room. What a cuckomunga.

It really makes me mad that these incompetent idiots have 6 figure incomes when people right here at DU are much smarter and are barely scraping by. This must be the shit floats to the top syndrome.
