armor of god, liberal decadence, fox only... voting tx-dem Bell
Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 06:09 PM by seabeyond
for governor of texas. an employee that i have talked to over the last couple years, that have held on to All the right wing talking points, that only watches fox and bigot and has left me with my mouth hanging open on so many occasions. she talks about christianity and the lack in the liberal. family values and the lack in the liberals. she has to put her armor of god on, when sittin in fear.

she told my husband tonight she and husband and family are going to vote for democratic runner bell for Governor of texas.

first thing out of my mouth

she should seeing how she and half her family have been or are on welfare.

she watched the debate friday night with our Governor perry and saw the slime he is. and she expressed that bell was regal, soft spoken, and talked about the issue, staying on track, not being a creep....

so people,

in this very strong part of the religious belt, for this woman to profess she would vote dem is BIG. as i have posted, a week ago, my country club, business owning republican father wants to know more about bell cause he does not want to vote for the others. REALLY doesn't like them.

1. I hope we get a good turnout....
Bell really won the debate. He hasn't had the money of Perry and Strayhorn, or the noteriaty of Kinky, but he has some good ideas. I saw him deal tactfully and respectfully with an anti abortionist (no mean feet). He's a level headed serious person and we need that now. Two terms of Dubya and two terms of Perry are too much.

i am going to call up tomorrow and see if they are going to do area calling. i think that would be a good thing for the next months to makethe calls in areas like this where we do NOT see or hear anything from bell.

2. What AnneD said
Bell definitely won the debate. Perry gave me the creeps, looked like he had something crawling in his undies. I liked the "pop quiz" segment, there should be more of that in all debates. Mr 'pede went to AC to see Kinky last Tuesday, came away with a yard sign. With the rain we had yesterday and today, Kinky is looking a little wilty. He can have fun with his sign, but I'll make sure he votes for Bell.

got all the answers right:headbang: Even I had to think a bit about the date of the battle of the Alamo (I was real close-but he nailed it). Scurry down to you Dem HQ or Bell's office NOW. It is never to early to start phone banking and organizing.

5. Chris Bell....
Must have gotten an infusion of cash. He has been running a great ad and I have seen it on regular AM morning show on 11. Boy, I feel better. These programs get folks up and getting kids ready for school. That is a group you want to target with your education message.
