The Death of the GOP Majority in 29 days.
29 Days. . .that's all that's left, folks. 29 long days before the election, and this nightmare of Republican leadership ends. 29 days and the Republicans get pasted.

From the way it looks, the Democrats will pickup the House (as this Foley sex scandal will bring down the holier-than-thou hypocrites in the GOP) and may just take the senate. In fact, it's looking as though the Republican may lose alot of Governor seats as well.

According to the website, electoral vote.com, The only states up for grabs any more are NJ, OH, TN, VA, and MO. Democrats lead in 3, Republicans lead in 1 and Missouri is tied with Claire McCaskill running against uber-loon and mega-fascist Jim Talent. The House, according to www.electionprediction.us, is at 223 Democrat seats, 212 Republican. With this Foley scandal, don't be surprised if the Democrats pick up a majority of 235 - 200. Also, according to that website, Democrats are picking up 6 Governorships.

So, why is the Republican Revolution coming to an end? Four reasons:

1: Greed: Republicans have a long history of only helping their contributors and telling the rest of the world to go fuck themselves. Teapot Dome, Pinchot Affair, the 1876 Election, Watergate, Iran-Contra, etc. . .Democrat scandals involve sex, Republican scandals involve power or money, usually both.

2: Hypocrasy: How long are you going to the "Democrats and Clinton is to blame" before your ducks come to roost? Mark Foley will cost them, minimum 10 seats. Hastert's seat is now up for grabs. DeLay will cost them 5 seats. Abramoff has already cost them 5 seat, including Bob Ney of Ohio. The hypocritical nature of the Republicans to attack Democrats, while dismissing what they do has come home. Between a gay prostitute posing as a White House reporter (Jeff Gannon) to a pedophile in the House (Foley), it's all coming down.

3: Iraq: Not much more to say here.

4: Bush: George Bush's popularity is at 33%. . .that's lower than Nixon during Watergate. That's lower than the dark days of Truman during Korea. Bush is a political momentum vaccum. This entire election is referendum on the Chimp in Charge. And he's going to get annihiliated.

Yes, for Democrats, life is very good right now.

2. Gotta correct you on two things
1. Those scandals didn't topple the GOP. They've only come back stronger. WHile "Bushism" may die, a new form of conservatism will take its place. The GOP also has the Right-Wing Noise Machine (ie. Rush, Fox News, Ann Coulter, Heritage Foundation, etc.) to prop them up, and their "noise machine" was originally designed to benefit them as an opposition party against the then-in power Congressional Democrats. The noise machine isn't as effective in covering up lies when they are in charge, but if we take back at least one house of Congress, they'll regroup.

4. Nixon's popularity was in the 20's when Watergate happened. Bush is still about ten points higher than Nixon (but about 5%-7% lower than Clinton was in 1994 at this time.)

3. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Contribute to campaigns & GOTV!!!!!!!!
The only thing that will insure a vote that isn't stolen is a large undeniable majority.

4. I think there are some House seats that are close that hasn't been
considered and they are assuming the Repubs will hang on to them..With that said I think we will pick up even more seats than predicted...
