Hastert gave his press conference in front of a CEMETERY
Edited on Tue Oct-10-06 10:11 AM by npincus
just watched a clip on CNN... a panaroma of toumbstones were the backdrop for this little Hastert re-hash.... anyone else find that more than a little symbolic? Dead Man talking? Cemetery = GOP prospects for Novemeber? Screenshot, anyone?

Hastert, fighting for political survival at a cemetery! That's RICH!

RIP, GOP.

1. Captive audience.
the only other appropriate backdrop would be a library. Lots of fingered pages there.

3. OMG NP! I was just reading your subject line to my husband
and the first thing he said was, "the symbolism is uncanny." Great minds....
