1. It's an advertiser for Air America...
I don't get it so I can't say more than that many of it's articles end up linked to DU

3. It's a worthy publication.
We subscribed, and finally cancelled because (in combination with my internet usage) it was more bad news than I could stomach.

I did enjoy receiving it, and I thought it was worth the money at the time.

4. You should subscribe. lots of good stuff.
you may not always agree. Most likely not. Because it presents different views. But is valuable.

6. great magazine
I started subscribing when the MSM decided that the Downing Street Memo wasn't news worthy. I don't regret it.

7. Why?
TheNation.com

IMO it is one publication worth supporting.

In these days of MSM stenographic services, and Time and Newsweek, The Nation is a jewel.

8. I subscribed and liked it, but let it slide because
the font they use is so tiny, I had a hard time reading the articles. Chalk that up to (older) age and lousy eyes.

12. Highly worthwhile publication

It comes out weekly, though, so try to stay on top of your reading or issues will rapidly stack up on you.

16. Best magazine ever!
I took the same offer but when the subscription expired I couldn't afford to renew because the yearly rate is $69. On social security and limited funds keep me from doing it. So I now have a friend pass her copy on. Best magazine ever!

17. 30-year subscriber, I am. Most valuable periodical in print.
Go for it! Now that Horrible Hitchens is gone, every square inch is a valuable read.
