It's odd how Keith Olbermann starts speaking out forcefully against the administration, and then sordid rumors about his private life surface.

Gee, what does that remind me of?

Oh yeah. Scott Ritter back in 2002-03 started speaking out forcefully against the administration and debunking their Iraq plans. And then, lo and behold, sordid rumors about his private life surface.

What a coincidence.

So, Olbermann was supposedly crocked on a bottle of wine and hit on some bar hag.

I guess Keith would be off the hook if he started sobbing and entered a detox clinic.

My only concern about the story is the quality of wine he was drinking. A good Cornell man would never drink a domestic...

3. And yet here is Scott Ridder on CNN looking well and promoting

his new book. He must feel vindicated for the years he took so much crap from conservative pundits about his life, his patriotism, etc. Go Scott!

And so is Keith.

With the Republicons it's always safe to assume that the more mud they throw, the more attention you should pay to the muddied.
