2. The lowest yield nuke tested so far
produced a 4.8 quake. That's 6 times stronger than the 4.2 registered in Korea. Either something went very wrong or this is a fabulous example of brinkmanship on NK's part, scaring us into thinking they have something ready to be deployed. Remember, their long range missile test went wrong, too.

One of the local analysts said if it were nuclear, it was more fizz than pop.

3. The initial reports from Russia said the blast was larger than reported
and then those reports went away.

I also have to wnder about the transmission of the shock waves since this was done basically in a mountain range rather than on an open plain.

6. That would increase the transmission rather than dampen it
and besides, seismic waves don't generally act like that.

4. Don't you love how they try to have it both ways?
Are you afraid of a nuclear (sorry, nuculer) war? Then YES, it was a huge bomb, they have a thousand more pointed at the U.S. right now and they're just waiting for a Democratic controlled congress to launch them. Better vote GOP or else the Dems will roll out the welcome mat to ol' Kim Jong!

Do you think the President and GOP congress should have done more to prevent N Korea from getting nukes and more to keep America safe? Then NO, it was just a little firecraker, a dud, a big failure because the GOP have kept N Korea under control and they don't pose any threat to you at all. Better vote GOP and help us keep on keeping you safe!

(By the way, pay no attention to that former congressman sending instant messages behind that curtain!)
