This very pleasant young lady (I assume young) says she's represent the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and wants to ask for my help (read MONEY!

My reply:

NOT ONE MORE DAMNED DIME until you people start standing up to the Republicans! Every year or two you come back and ask for our manpower, money and vote with the dire warning, "If you don't elect us the REPUBLICANS will do bad things" Guess what? They ARE DOING BAD THINGS and you're not standing up to them. Start by getting the Democratic Senators to FILIBUSTER DAMMIT! There's never been a better reason.

That's almost verbatim....including the yelling!

Damn that felt good...I hope the fundraisers get the message back to the Democratic leadership!

They are telephone solicitors. It may make you feel better but accomplishes little. It is best to write them. But they seriously don't care what you think anyway, unless you were giving $25,000 minimum.

7. hahahahah.... I got a call from my sweet little old mother this morning

...and she told me she was getting all these fundraising "surveys" from the Democratic Party. And my sweet little old lifelong Democrat Mother is writing all across them in big letters "You get NOTHING from me until you start standing up to Bush!" and putting them in the post-paid envelopes and sending them in.

8. I got a call from them Tuesday night wanting $110 donation. I told

the guy 'No'. Said I would be making my donations directly to the campaigns of those who deserve it. That a lot of Democrats, were so in name only. He didn't like it.
