DPS has detonated a possible pipe bomb found along side the freeway near Arizona City.

The device was found on the side of the road by a state road worker.

The freeways remain open, however the Sunland Gin Road off ramp is closed.

Earlier reports said the bomb was inside a vehicle. DPS is now reporting the device was found on the side of the road by a state road worker.
