30. he's full of shit, he was so full of faux outrage at John Kerry during
2004. My husband calls people like joe---"Bandwagon jumpers" If Bush's poll numbers were good Joe would be strapping on his knee pads.

7. "Pat Robertson IS nuts"
Edited on Thu Oct-12-06 08:06 PM by deminks
O'Donnell just now on the show. He said it was good news that the people in the WH think that people like Robertson are nuts, because they are.

That may be true, but the point is that Bushco is using them. And throwing them out with the holy water.

8. Lies, says the WH? So why would the author be motivated to lie?
Especially when he probably knows very well how vicious KKKarl et al. are to people who criticize them. This guy will be swiftboated like all the others, but maybe he's willing to take that risk because he's genuinely disgusted at how cynically they used religion for political purposes.

16. Yeah, it would seem to me this guy, the author, has killed his
political careerer to publish this book.

10. Isn't it just AMAZING how the entire WORLD is lying?
and the people in the administration are the ONLY people who ever tell the truth? :wow: It doesn't matter who says it. If it's bad about the cabal...they're liars. Amazing.

Considering we're discussing fairy tales and bogeyman, I'd say the whole discussion is nuts.

13. Who appointed O'Donnell to be the spokesperson for the whole
democratic party? I didn't vote for him to do that.

Sharpton might be on the edge sometimes, but damn ... I'm riding that donkey with him all the same!

O'Donnell might be a nut himself!

14. Larry does go off the reservation every once in a while
however, if you will note, sometimes we get some pretty negative threads here on DU about Al.

People here still want to yell "Tawana" every time his name comes up.

My point is there was a hint of truth to what Larry said. Not that Al is nuts, but there is a perception out there by some in the party who thinks he is.

he was so welcoming and refreshing in 2004. I became a fan of his because of that.

18. I hear you Catwoman
Al lives on that edge, no doubt about it. But, he moved many a voter with his speech at the convention, knows when to make fun of himself (Mr. Deeds comes to mind), and often doesn't shrink from calling an arm an arm for the good of all concerned. Sometimes he hits the target, sometimes the target hits him. :)

I know what you're saying and I agree with you.
