it's gonna hit 12,000 all bloody day long.
No mention of the 2995 dead US + Coalition of the willing gonna hit 3,000 at all...
No mention of the report of 655,000 Dead Iraqi MIT John Hopkins study...FROM YESTERDAY!
The fact the latest Condi revelation isn't "massive" is beyond me.
But the Reid story is catching steam...
bloody country.
Ahh found some Guiness....

I am sorry but what the Dow does or doesn't do has little affect on most of us. I always wonder why they even waste our time telling us what it did. Oh,oh oil goes down a couple dollars a barrel and our gas bill goes down a few pennies ~ until after the election. God I hate business and its stranglehold on We The People! I know it gives us jobs, but what for? To make some rich man richer while we get the crumbs?
AARRGGHH!
Cat In Seattle <---a cynic who worked McJobs for over 35 years and found it was a big waste of my time because it never even fed my family, forget whether or not it "fulfilled" me, all it did was break my body and then my soul.

They are so freaking retarded. Just because the Dow is up does not mean our economy is booming. If it were booming we wouldn't be having layoffs every third minute. We wouldn't have so many people living in poverty. We wouldn't have people STARVING to death every day in this country. Back when Clinton was in office and the Dow was climbing, there was prosperity all the way around. What these idiots forget about is that more of the top 1% trade in the stock market than the rest of us, and just because they are doing well, it does not necessarily bode well for the rest of us. God, they only hear what they want to hear!! Duckie

The “jobless recovery” of recent years saw most economic statistics rise well into positive territory, while most people saw their expenses rise and their income shrink when their jobs didn’t simply fold out from under them. Things could go much further in the same direction. It requires no particular suspension of disbelief to imagine a situation where the stock market hits new heights daily and other measures of economic activity remain in positive territory, while most of the population is starving in the streets.
