about the base???? They don't. They're still in the "shut up and vote Dem" mode. They still think we'll go along, no matter what they do and some actually will. However, the progressives, the grass roots, the people who work their precincts, get out the vote, poll watch, make phone calls, donate money, organize, will walk away in droves and the Democratic Party will go the way of the Whigs -- as they should.
