Have The Number Of U.S. Soldier Deaths In Iraq Surpassed The 9-11 Deaths? |

Wasn't it somewhere around 2,752? Doesn't this deserve mention as a milestone, a very sad one that is?

2. Yes it was passed a couple of weeks ago |

3. When do we cross the "length of WWII" marker? |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-13-06 12:03 AM by sfwriter
We hit it in May of last year for the "war on terror." It amazes me that in the equivalent of the time since 9/11 until now, we went from Pearl Harbor to the Marshall Plan under Roosevelt and Truman.
I wonder when we cross that marker for Bush's War?

4. do you count suicides after troops get home or only combat deaths? |
|
Of course if you count Iraqis as well that milestone was passed after about 3 days.
