The Democrats put up a valiant fight |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-25-06 03:41 PM by quinnox
But unfortunatetly it is fighting with both hands tied behind their backs when the GOP controls all the levels of power.
It is the voters who put the republicans in office, their fault of why Alito is gonna be on the court and all the other damage Bush has done.
Shame on all those who voted republican!
I'm proud of the Democrats for putting up a hard battle even though ultimately it was a losing cause from the beginning.

The Dems can still, and should, pull out the filibuster. If they don't, then they are truly fighting with both hands tied.
I'm hoping and praying that they do, it is imperative that they do. If they don't filibuster, then they have betrayed us all to the fascists.

10. I agree with every word you scream friend |

All I'm saying is that it ain't over till the fat lady yadda yadda. There is still a chance to filibuster, so don't give up the fight, or hope just yet. There will be plenty of time for anger afterwards, OK.

but a no vote - when you know you're gonna lose without a filibuster - is meaningless. Filibuster, and force the chicken shit dems to have an up or down vote on cloture - let's see who is really against alito

7. We deserve an up or down vote on a filibuster! Let the Dems who |
|
oppose a filibuster stand up and vote for cloture. If they aren't too chicken.

12. Do not give up. FAX, e-mail and call Senators. |
|
Keep the pressure on.
Sen. Clinton says that she's not getting enough correspondence on this. I suggest that we show her that we care very much about this.
