In his book, Faith & Politics: How the Moral Values Debate Divides America and How to Move Forward Together, Episcopal priest and former US senator (R-MO), John Danforth provides his prescription for finding common ground and bridging the nation’s partisan political divide. Danforth discusses the book with Charles Haynes, senior scholar at The First Amendment Center. Haynes specializes in issues of religious liberty and the role of religion in American life.

Mark Halperin and John Harris, The Way to Win: Taking the White House in 2008
Halperin and Harris argue that the current political climate favors candidates who emphasize ideological extremism and implement personal attacks against opponents. They speculate about the most promising contenders for the 2008 presidential election.

Bill O'Reilly, Culture Warrior

And What We Can Do About It
Hartmann, an Air America talk radio host, alleges that conservatives are creating rules and conditions that value corporations over people, resulting in the abandonment of health care and social policies that support the middle class.
