Just kidding, I'm sure there is some number of honest, well meaning, moral, but severely misguided (potentially signifying imbecility**) people who think they are Republicans.

**Seriously, though, does it not seem that an awfully large percentage of Americans, mostly those claiming to be Republican/Conservatives, are so seriously dumb and/or ignorant that one wonders how they manage to survive? It's probably just my own minimal Republican coming out that makes me judge a whole group and find them wanting, but it seems to me that my conclusion appears to be supported by the evidence. Of course, on an individual basis, all such stereotypical thinking can be entirely wrong... Still, on average... nevermind.
