The Simultaneous Whales




How odd that we forget the simultaneous whales.



Right now, this instant, there are 3 or 4 whales in the North Atlantic who are 100% alive, 100% conscious -- and 100% simultaneous.



And they aren't thinking about us. And they never will be thinking about us.



The fact that they're simultaneous is strangely humbling. They're doing their thing, whether or not any human ever notices them or forms mental pictures of them. They have their world, their reality, and it doesn't include us. And it doesn't include science. And it doesn't include religion.



Does this make them less real?



Perhaps we should call awareness of the simultaneous our "7th sense", since it has to do with dimensions which are really "too close" (for the lack of a better way of saying it) to be seen or touched or measured or prayed over.



The simultaneous whales are incarnations of that which is already the case; mountains of spontaneous presence, singing . . . but not for us.
