Tweety just reported that the FBI is now investigating Norquest and his dealings with Abramhoff. Another dirty republican. Here is a link.

3. What are they claiming he did wrong?
He's not an elected official is he?

There's no doubt that he was in bed with Abramoff and Delay, but what are they saying he did wrong (illegal, I mean)?

9. There may just be a God after all!
Now if the FBI can turn their attention to Rove and Cheney, I just may have to find a church to go to.

The Repukes are nothing but the mafia dressed up as Nazis.

10. Dobbs' show ran a snip on FIVE 527s that got money from Abramoff,
or his clients, then tried to influence legislation directly related to their interests

one was Norquist's, the other one I saw was something like Citizens Against Public Waste

there should be a transcript up

14. Norquest and Abramhoff and Rove and Delay
They are so stuck together that it is impossible to separate them.

How Ralph Reed is escaping all of this is too much.

19. I think
he was just an independant businessman in the scheme and is likely clear of criminal activity. Too bad we can't convict him for being a lieing whore.

16. Good for the FBI.
It doesn't happen often, but sometimes they actually do something right. Must be hard to do with Dick Cheney running things. It hope they get that bastard - Grover's been dodging jailtime for decades. Time's up.

17. Let's remember what he said to Bill Moyers in an interview
"Republicans and conservatives can best advance the cause of civility by working hard to finish off the hopes of the Democrats for any return to power. It is like neutering barnyard animals: they are much calmer, less likely to cause damage, and easier to control. As the vet says, "They will be happier; this is good for them." " -Grover Norquist

20. He got interviewed on local (Denver) tv after Amendment C
passed in 2004 - he'd been heavily involved in opposing both C & D. It was a pretty unguarded (and eye opening) interview. The real Norquist came across - petty, mean, and vicious.

It would, I hate to say, give me a great deal of pleasure to see this man marched off to jail.
