NEW Grand Theft Election: Nixonians Friday 13th: Kissinger's Back!
Be afraid! Be very afraid!

No kidding. Remember how bad things were the last time. The Missing, Operation Condor, Agent Orange, the Killing Fields. That man already has enough death and suffering on his karmic plate to make him come back as a mosquito a thousand times over. And now we find out that he has been doing it again. Illegal CIA torture prisons, the attempted coup in Venezuela, the ignored genocide in Dafur (shades of Bangladesh!), the quagmire in Iraq (can't let those Shias form a stable gov't that might threaten the Saudis oil fields that Kissinger's company represents W.'s insistance upon invading Iran (can't let the Shias threaten the Saudi oil fields...), allowing North Korea to acquire nuclear weapons (cold war was Kissinger's finest hour)---these all bear the fingerprints of the biggest unindicted war criminal the world has ever known.

What are we to do? You can not kill the Henry Kissingers of the world. Kill the Devil, become the Devil. If you banish him, he finds a way back into power. How do you get rid of him? Well, if we were Hindus, we could pray.

"Nixonians XIII: World Poison."

1. Christopher Hitchens thought Super K should be tried as a war
criminal. But, of course, it is fashionable to hate C. Hitchens in this forum.

2. what's the thing about the blind squirrel?
he used to be rational

that was awhile ago

I read that book, and several others of his.

with the exception of the one you cite, nothing he's written in a long time has made any sense, other than as a revelation of his own intellectual/ethical/emotional dissipation

did you see the latest New Yorker?

a more odious human being would be hard to find, if a tenth of that article is to be believed

3. Thanks for the news on the New Yawker. Our library doesn't get it
anymore so I will seek it in a book shop.
