It was forwarded to me by another teacher. It's obviously a trumped up letter but what would its source be?

It's introduced under the guise of a letter that was actually sent by someone in the U.S. and translated.

Dear Cousin Soralla:

Since sneaking over in the US, we are doing great. My daughter has already had two babies and she isn't even 17 yet! I don't know why the gringos complain about health care, it is great for us- everything is free, free, and freer!

Here's how it works- the gringos pay 4000+ a year into something called Medicare. They can only draw from it when they are 60. But, we illegal's, despite not paying a centavo into it, get to use it all we want!

My daughter, who had two babies (she is the pride of the middle school) had all her bills paid for. Not only that, they give us free food! They give even more free food in the schools. When my teenager was pregnant, she got WIC (more free food!). Of course, my kids throw most of it away because they rather eat the junk food that we buy with our food stamps.

Now, since we work under the table, we pay no income taxes! We don't pay taxes, we don't pay for health care and we don't pay for our food. We have plenty of money left over to buy vacations, toys, and send home to Mexico.

Now, we don't hate the Americans. Actually we love them. If they didn't limit themselves to 2.3 children each so that they could work multiple jobs, we illegal's might actually have to PAY for our food and health insurance- who wants that?

I do hope that we all become legal soon so that we can vote. One idea over here is to extend social security benefits to all Mexicans, even those still in Mexico. By cutting the benefits by 60% for those who paid into it, and by imposing a 60% tax on all who draw money out of their 401 plans after age 60, it could work! If the gringos object, all we have to do is play what is called the "race card". We scream "racism"! Pretty nice!

So what are you waiting for, bring all the family and come up here to the land of plenty. It's just a short walk.
