Florida gubernatorial candidate has trouble with small plane.
Lands on I-4.

Gubernatorial Candidate Makes Emergency Landing On I-4

Reform Party gubernatorial candidate Max Linn was expected to talk Saturday morning about the unbelievable emergency landing he made right in the middle of Interstate 4 near downtown Orlando.

snip

Tom Macklin, Linn's running mate, said Linn left St. Petersburg for the roughly 100 mile trip to Orlando at about 12:30 p.m., but made an unexpected landing in Lakeland after experiencing trouble. The plane was looked at there, about halfway to Orlando, and Linn continued flying at about 1 p.m., Macklin said.

Macklin said Linn's plane experienced engine trouble or failure about 45 minutes later, forcing him to land on the interstate. The plane appeared to have landed on its wheels and did not suffer extensive body damage.

Linn owns a plane, but was flying one leased from St. Petersburg-based Bay Air Flying Service because his was in the shop, Macklin said.

3. Poor, naive Linn...
doesn't he know not to get on small planes so soon after outing the successor to one of the Bush family? All he needs to do is ask the family of Paul Wellstone...

Jet used by Crist has unusual history

Under its previous owner, the jet was leased to the CIA to carry a suspected terrorist to another country where he was tortured, according to the Amnesty International Web site.

snip:

The practice of transporting terror suspects out of the United States to countries more amenable to torture, known as "rendition," has earned the scorn of numerous human rights groups.

The Amnesty International Web site says the plane, identified by its tail number, was used to transfer a Canadian man from the United States to Jordan, where he was tortured.

The group includes a picture of the plane on its Web site, saying it has made more than 100 trips to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the site of the nation's controversial detention center.

7. Max Linn outed Crist on the guy james show last week..and orlando radio
and here is an article..about it..

http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/10/101206crist.htm

Appearing on WFTL, a South Florida news-talk station, independent gubernatorial candidate Max Linn said it is common knowledge in Tallahassee that Crist is gay.

And, Linn said it is time Crist acknowledged it.

"Charlie come out, come out from wherever you are," Linn said during an interview on the station.

Linn said he has known Crist for 25 years and even worked to help get him elected to other offices and that he's "a good guy."

9. Just look at crist...
...he screams 'GAAAAYYY!'. My gaydar has been going off on this closet case for years. Anyways, bad pilot or not Im voting for Linn so far. Davis hasnt given me any reason to do otherwise and Crist wont be nearly as evil as JEB. (btw, turns out his name apparently isn't Jeb, JEB is his initials...interesting tidbit of useless info.)
