Have You Noticed that Democrats are the Best Looking!
I am seeing articles on this? Are Democrats the best looking?

And the smartest?

Do people vote for the best looking?

2. Well, that goes without saying.
If the best looking candidate is the one who wins then we should run Obama.

But Wes Clark is good looking. And so is Edwards. And I think John Kerry is too.

3. I have this longstanding theory about Repubs.
The pols who are the most strident (especially on so-called values issues and issues concerning women's rights) could never get a date in college. Never. Too bad looking. So there's alot of anger there, especially concerning women. So they pass legislation to keep women in their place and to preserve the man-is-the-boss household and society.

Alot of anger, alot of frustration. Because they could never get the women they wanted.

5. That theory could apply to lots and lots of things.
People who finally made it in politics getting even for all the little things that happened to them in high school! I wouldn't doubt it at all.

6. I agree, with one exception. The reason they couldn't get dates wasn't

because they were "bad looking".

Yeah, the superficial, plastic types may have given them a pass, however, if they had any kind of ability to connect in a meaningful way with decent, caring women, they would have gotten dates and more. Of course, it would have involved effort and willingness to be vulnerable on their parts.

However, I'm sure, even in Junior High or Middle School, these guys were giving off those "icky" vibes that sent most girls running the opposite direction.

That vibe that says,"I look at everything and everyone as a vehicle to what I want and I don't give a shit about anything or anyone else but me. And, I hold personal grudges for a long time." MKJ

7. Oh please, this is just silly
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.
And remember what Adlai Stevwenson said about being smart ---
"When the eloquent Adlai Stevenson was running for president against Dwight Eisenhower, a woman gushed to the Democratic candidate after a rally, "Every thinking person will be voting for you." Stevenson supposedly replied: "Madam, that is not enough. I need a majority."
