"Abramoff Paytriots (TM)" include George Allen
http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/norindsea.shtml

Just type in Abramoff, Jack, and scroll down to see that he is a "Friend of George Allen" (and Tom Delay, and...)

http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/com_ind/C00344853/1/A/

Due to the enormous number of contributors, the FEC website has to parse out George Allen's supporters by letters of the alphabet!

http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/com_ind/C00344853/

George Allen is an Abramoff Paytriot (TM)!!!

Spread the word, folks.

1. As we all know the powers that be,
have been grooming Allen for the oval office. And as we also know he's probably less qualified then Bu$h if thats possible, so anything that takes Allen out of politics i'll encourage.

4. Thank you...but also call the Virginia/DC media...
... provided in those links.

Macaca is getting stale in VA - but an Abramoff/Allen connection could put the final nail in Allen's Ambitions.

... eating a foofie dinner is all it will take to expose him as a fake to the Southwestern Virginia meat and potatoes crowd.

7. Talking to the rural Virginia voters...
Edited on Sat Oct-14-06 10:16 AM by IdesOfOctober
... about George Allen's fake pandering to their key issues is going to be vital for a Webb Win:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/PresidentialByCounty.aspx?oi=P&rti=G&sp=VA&tf=l

The DNC has not exactly proven itself adept at appealing to these areas, or understanding their needs, hot button issues, and daily lives.

Northern Virginia is a shoe-in for Webb to win. But rural Virginians *will* hold the balance of power in this election.

Exposing George Allen as an "Abramoff Paytriot (TM)" - on the take from corporate interests, with no intention of addressing rural Virginians' needs - is going to be absolutely critical for picking up this Senate Seat.

8. Sacking the paper quarterback
Webb needs to continue hitting hard, and hitting directly at Allen's fake image.

Among persuadable Reagan Democrats in rural Virginia, a "sacking the paper quarterback" ad series - listing out all of Allen's fake stances, fumbled plays in the Senate (e.g., healthcare, Medicare reform, elder care, flip flop votes - issues rural Virginians care about) - would hit directly at his mocked-up manhood.

Allen is vulnerable. Time to sack the paper quarterback, and win this seat back.

9. An "entitled," to the manor born, Reich winger who would like to rule
instead of serve.

I've watched Allen stand up and lie, time after time on the senate floor and he lies flawlessly just like Bush does it. Just what the PNAC ordered...I think Allen would be an even worse pResident than Bush is, if that is possible.

10. Let Me Get a Piece of That...
I don't trust George Allen, and I've been a registered Republican since I first heard MA Governor Bill Weld speak about true conservatism (which is progressive, butts out of people's personal lives, insists upon efficient government - realizing the need for a social safety net, but requiring that it be operated efficiently, and believes passionately in the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the Constitution).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

My family is primarily union Democrats, cut from New Deal cloth. My great-grandmother had two pictures in her living room that weren't family: FDR and JFK. My mom maintains hope that someday her "prodigal son" will return to the flock.

George Allen is a fake. He's no Roosevelt Republican, by which I mean he is no Teddy Roosevelt.

Roosevelt Republicans believe in conservation, and good ecological stewardship.

Roosevelt Republicans believe that the powers of corporations should be limited, and should never outweight the rights of any actual living, breathing citizen.

Roosevelt Republicans believe in serving in the military themselves, regardless of social class - instead of sending the children of poor families to do the dirty work.

When he tried to portray himself as a "man of the people" down there in Southwestern Virginia, George Allen insulted the intelligence of the Virginia Appalachian Highlanders, insinuating that his use of code words would suffice to say, "We're alike, you and I, though we can't come out and express our bigotry outright nowadays."

And his Macaca-mamie excuses for his bigotry ring hollow in the "hollers" of Southwestern VA.

George Allen is a disgrace to the Senate, an embarrasment to the Commonwealth, and a liability to the party. As such, I have declared my support for Webb, and I have asked my homestate Senators to waive Senatorial courtesy considerations, to take the lead in investigating events that took place here in Virginia:

http://www.shareholdersonline.org/pdf/092006senateinvestigationrequest.pdf

If the GOP "leaders" don't stop ignoring ***this*** set of e-mails, my mom may soon get her wish. I prefer to work within the party to restore it to its principles, but it's getting harder and harder to explain to my family and friends why I haven't torn up my voter registration card, and signed a new one.

14. Have you not seen every republican in Washington walk in lock
step with George W. Bush over the past six years? Go look at their congressional voting records...

Has the government gotten smaller since 2000! Does the patriot act and the NSA spying on you, not seem like the GOP led government, wants to intrude on every aspect, every waking moment of your life? Why do they need to know about every check you write, or call you make, or email you send and every book you check out of the library? Will you continue to trust and support these selfish people who have stood up and lied to you and your friends and family, over and over. People who have done everything they've done since they controlled the government, to help the rich and powerful and to hurt the poor, the old and the hard working bread winners and their children throughout America.

Look at how much the cost of living has gone up and the wages and benefits have gone down. Count the good paying production jobs we'd had for generations in this country, that have now been shipped overseas.

Are you better off now than you were in 2000? Do you feel more secure? Are you happy that we now torture and abuse prisoners, who in most cases are not even guilty of any crimes? Do you think God is pleased with America now?

If you want some more of this, I can go on and on...and you know I'm not lying.

16. The one patriot out of how many?
Jim Jeffords will go down in the books as the only republican patriot in Washington during the Bush era. And the rest of the GOP has treated him like dirt! And Joe LIEberman is the AntiDem.

18. When I worked around The Hill
there were a number of republican senators that I respected: Sen. Wiecker, Sen. Perry, Sen. Chaffee (sr) and Sen. Rudman. Sen. Jeffords fit their profile. Can't really think of any today. The two Maine Senators and the younger Chaffee and from time to time Hagel and Lugar give voice to that kind of mold - but in the end they have been reliable votes for Frist on issues that seriously compromise, imo, our Constitution and our Constitutional system of balances of power.

20. As You Say...
... the two Maine Senators and a few others still show momentary flashes of their old plumage. Wish they'd just let their feathers show, and tell the President, "With all due respect to your office, my oath requires me to attend to mine."
