It says "fixed" as if there might have been something wrong earlier, and I have been trying since last night to get it (WMP version) but it will only transfer REALLY slow - like one b/sec! Now I have a slow dial-up but usually these things come in at 20 to 24K.

I left it running over night and it SAID I had over 24 MG of file on there and it was STILL loading, but when I stopped it and tried to play what I had, I got nothing. I have deleted and restarted a dozen times, but it still goes that slow and won't play a thing.

Does it work for anybody else, or does anybody have any idea what my problem might be?
(I loaded an Olbermann clip right before I started the TDS one last night and it worked fine.)

8. I too leave my machine on, all day & night.

And this morning, I began to have series of "Server not found" messages from certain websites. Finally, I got them from ALL the sites. PANIC IN THE STREETS!! I reset both my DSL modem and router, and am now back in business. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL ONCE MORE!

This isn't supposed to happen, and there may be a firmware upgrde for the router. But in the meantime, i'll try to make a daily practice of resetting both.

The file is just over 11MB and it downloaded fine for me right now. I have DSL - the download took one minute and seventeen seconds at 140Kb/sec.

7. Hi AC!

No streaming at this, um "speed" if you could call it that. C an L downloads have been the best working way for me to view anything. Just seem to be having trouble with this one. Will try restarting my machine as suggested above.

Restarting did the trick! I must have originally started when the link was broken (tubes clogged?).

Man, I love the Daily Show - the only tv I never actually had, but miss!
And need I say more about fast and generous advice from the best site in the internets, DU?
