|
You can: MoveOn.org's "Call for Change."

Really this is easy, you get the list on your computer, there is a script and you just check off what was said if you get a contact. A half hour a day or even just a couple times a week and that could be a lot of contacts.

5. I can't wait to get started. You know, it was a good day |
|
to be a Democrat.
I know I'm going to pay for today's walk. I am going on 62 years, and I have bad arthritis. I will not be a happy puppy come tomorrow morning. It would probably be worse if I wasn't in fairly good condition from all the precinct walking.

8. Take A Date To Vote... |
|
This is a gimmick I picked up from a campaign a long time ago and if there was a year to bring this back, this is the year.
The premise is one the GOOP has used effectively and that's when you have two people or more voting together...good chance you'll get two votes from two people who might have decided to stay home if you left it to them to get to the polls.
The concept is to find people to go vote with...be it with another family member or good friend...or to hook them up with someone in their building or neighborhood who will be voting. Encourage them to make it like a real date...go out to vote and then for lunch or dinner...make it a pleasant experience.
For the past two years we've looked at finding ways to attracted independents and moderates to our side. Now in these final days, it's time to close the deal...and most specifically with our own. We need every Democratic vote we can get in EVERY district this year...not just to restore some responsibility to the government, but to show ourselves how we can make a difference.
Cheers...
