NBC's Mitchell: George And Laura Bush Are "Really Angry" At Fmr. Chief Of Staff Andy Card "For Telling To Truth" To Bob Woodward...

NBC's Chief Foreign Affair Correspondent Andrea Mitchell Appeared On The Chris Matthews Show Sunday, along with Bob Woodward, David Brooks and others. During the "scoops" segment of the show, Mitchell revealed that although Andy Card flew down to attend the christening of the George H. Bush carrier, it was at the request of the senior President Bush. George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush are still "really angry" at Card for speaking to Bob Woodward for his new book State of Denial. Woodward interrupted Mitchell to add that they were angry at Card for "Telling the truth," and Mitchell agreed.

15. I have never been able to understand why people thought Laura bush

was this paragon of virtue anyway. She never struck me that way. At best she was this hick-from-the-sticks-like phoney female appendage to a horrendously corrupt but extremely well connected member of a huge crime family.

At the worst she was an opportunistic bitch who was willing to put up with any disgusting and disgraceful behavior from her husband just so she could have a cushy life-style.
