8. We were at the book signing

We not only watched on CSPAN but my husband and I went to the book signing in September in Brooklyn. It was a treat not only to see Thom in person but to be in a such a receptive crowd (small, but it's a small bookstore-coffee house). A highlight of our trip to New York last month!

Earlier I was surfing the teevee, trying to catch Kerry and Howard Dean on different programs at the same time and has to either endure Condoscenda Rice or John (Got Milk?) Bolton until either of them came on.

I feel a little sick to my stomach now.

signing books, and i hear the one lady how much she loves him and what he's doing for america. barf!
